For its eighth edition, the Théophile Legrand Foundation, under the auspices of the Fondation de France, will award an International Theophile Legrand Prize for Textile Innovation worth € 8,000.
Candidates can now come from a research laboratory, a textile engineer school or laboratory of a textile company. To be considered, the project which will be submitted should not be commercialized.
Researchers have until January 27, 2017 to submit their applications.
Created in 2009 in Fourmies (France – Nord) by Dominique and Christian Cambier, founders of the Théophile Legrand Foundation, the International Théophile Legrand Textile Innovation Award has now been under the authority of the Union of textiles industries since 2014, trade union representing the diversity of French textile regions and branches, working closely with the Fondation de France.
The Théophile Legrand Prize for Textile Innovation 2017 will be awarded on Thursday 16 March 2017 .
The winner or the winning team will present their project on Saturday 18 March at 14:00 at the Théophile Legrand private high school in Louvroil (F – 59).
